International Collaborations

The University of Piraeus is a member of International Organizations and Networks for Higher Education. It cooperates, through international and bilateral agreements, with Universities and Research Centers abroad, with the aim of promoting scientific research and the exchange of good practices and knowledge. It has signed 53 agreements both as a University and through the individual Departments.
 
Apart from institutions within the EU, the University of Piraeus collaborates with institutions from all over the world, such as Ethiopia, Australia, Kazakhstan, and other places, to promote the mobility of staff and students and the creation of joint events and research programs.

Study in Greece

Study in Greece (SiG) is the national body of Greece aiming at the internationalization of Higher Education, the promotion of Greek Universities and the provision of services for international students. It has the auspices of four Greek ministries: Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Tourism, as well as the general support of the Greek state.

The Study in Greece portal includes everything an international student and the international academic community in general, needs to know about studying, researching, collaborating and living in Greece, including study options, cultural activities and everyday practical details.

SiG represents Greek universities in international educational exhibitions and promotes Greek higher education through various promotional and information events, tours and presentations organized in close cooperation with Greek diplomatic authorities, Embassies and Consulates abroad, as well as foreign diplomatic missions in Greece.
