Student Ombudsman

The Student Ombudsman is appointed by decision of the Senate. Their mission is to mediate between students and faculty members or administrative services of the institution, to ensure compliance with the law within the framework of academic freedom, to address instances of maladministration, and to safeguard the smooth operation of the institution. The Student Ombudsman has no jurisdiction over issues related to student examinations and grading. Communication between students or faculty members and the Student Ombudsman is conducted via email at: katsimb@unipi.gr

For the current academic year, Professor Emeritus Georgios Katsimbris has been appointed as the Student Ombudsman.
