What do we gain from this group, what do we gain through theater? A lot… It is a process through which each and every one of us can feel creative. We overcome shyness, insecurities, and taboos, bringing to light aspects of our character we never knew existed—discovering another side of ourselves. We become a team; we learn to trust and to operate as “we” instead of “I”.

The Musical Ensemble of the University of Piraeus was established through the initiative and support of former University Professor Mr. Panagiotis Kanellopoulos and Professor Ms. Kornilia Delouka-Inglessi. For the past 5 years, it has been operating under the artistic direction of the conductor and composer Andreas Katsigiannis.
For the current year, the ensemble has prepared and performed the concert “Mare Nostrum” in a large number of shows.

Dance Group
Every single one of us can dance, as long as we have the drive and an open mind. Our body is our tool, but our mind and soul are our driving forces. At our University, you can engage in traditional dances, as well as practice contemporary dance or aerobic fitness to music.
