E-Quality Project Holds Short-Term Joint Staff Training in Pafos, Cyprus

Pafos, Cyprus — November 3–5, 2025

Neapolis University Pafos hosted the E-QUALITY Short-Term Joint Staff Training as part of the Erasmus+ project “E-Quality: Enhancing Quality Assurance in Higher Education” (Project No. 2024-1-EL01-KA220-HED-000247816). The three-day training event brought together representatives from all partner institutions to strengthen collaboration and enhance quality assurance mechanisms in higher education through innovative digital tools and best practices.

The training, conducted under Work Package 4 (WP4), aimed to equip academic and administrative staff with the skills necessary to effectively use the E-Quality online platform and to promote sustainable quality assurance processes within partner universities.

Day 1 – Kick-off and Platform Introduction

The event began on Monday, November 3rd, with a warm welcome by the Neapolis University Pafos representative, followed by a presentation by the project coordinator from the University of Piraeus (UNIPI) outlining the project’s progress and achievements to date.
Participants were introduced to the training objectives, the E-Quality platform, and the sign-up procedures. The day concluded with discussions on the implementation of Work Package 4 and a networking lunch offered by Neapolis University.

Day 2 – Exploring Work Packages and Platform Tools

On Tuesday, November 4th, the focus shifted to practical aspects of the platform. Sessions covered Work Package 5 (WP5), the Platform Manual, and open discussions among partners. Participants engaged in hands-on demonstrations and collaborative exchanges, deepening their understanding of how the E-Quality platform supports institutional quality assurance frameworks.

Day 3 – Digital Learning and Certification

The final day, Wednesday, November 5th, explored the roles of users within the platform, MOOC sessions, and ECVET integration. Participants examined how digital learning and credentialing processes can be aligned with European quality standards. The training concluded with a recap session, awarding of certificates of attendance, and closing remarks highlighting the project’s next steps.
