From June 23rd to 27th, 2025, part of the International Relations Office team participated in the 21st Erasmus Congress and Exhibition – ERACON 2025, organized by the EAEC (European Association of Erasmus Coordinators) in Thessaloniki, specifically at the Grand Palace Hotel.

During ERACON, the Erasmus+ KA220 HED , Enhancing Quality Assurance in Higher Education – EQUALITY was presented to its 245 participants. Dr. Christina Kontogoulidou as the Scientific Coordinator along with Ms. Zoi Katsiri explained its key goals: 

1. Collecting and integrating quality assurance methods and techniques used by partner universities.
2. Introducing transparent rules and procedures to streamline evaluation processes.
3. Developing innovative tools and materials to enhance QA practices.
4. Establishing the E-QUALITY Platform, which centralizes quality methods and supports QA evaluations.
5. Creating training courses and MOOCs for QA managers and administrators.

and its aim that is to enhance communication among QA staff, involve diverse stakeholders, and encourage the adoption of a common framework for quality assurance standards in European higher education institutions
