One of the responsibilities of the Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Committee (GEADC) of the University of Piraeus is to submit to the Senate the Action Plan for gender equality and combating discrimination within the Institution.

The general objective of the Action Plan is to map and address all forms of gender-based inequalities and discrimination, as well as incidents of gender-based violence and sexual harassment within the University. At the same time, it aims to mainstream the gender dimension into all aspects of the Institution’s operation – both in its internal organization and in the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral Study Programs, as well as in research and academic activities.
