The access to the library is from the main – circular- stairs in the middle of the ground floor. There is prediction for the easy access of people with disabilities from the left red elevator. The library consists of three main places.

  • Lending place
  • Books place
  • Reading place

In the Lending place, which is located outside the Reading one, there are computers connected to the Internet for the students to use. A special terminal for data retrieval of library bibliography can be found there as well. Moreover, there are photocopying machines used with special billing cards and an electronic info kiosk with a touch screen in order to provide general information about the University. Free access is allowed for every library member in the Books place. Need for the European Documentation Centre also meets searches.

In the Reading place, there are shelves with journals of the current and the last year, information material and special and help books for the students to use in place during the working hours.

The visitors are obliged to comply with simple rules of good behaviour, so that comfortable studying environment and proper function of the Reading place is preserved. Smoking, eating and drinking is forbidden.

In the case that a document has not been properly charged and assigned to a visitor, a special security system is activated before the latter leaves the library premises.

Visitor’s registration. Undergraduate students, faculty teaching staff members, administrative staff and postgraduate students of the University can be registered as members of the library. For the rest of the visitors lending of a book can be valid only within the library premises. Not only are the journals available to members but to visitors as well, as long as they are within the library space.
