The Department of Maritime Studies offers undergraduate courses leading to a BSc Degree, in Maritime studies. The duration of studies is four years (8 semesters). During the first three years (6 se-mesters) all subjects taught are common and compulsory to all students enrolled in the Department. During the 7 th semester, students select two elective subjects in addition to the compulsory courses. Curriculum is subject to year revision and interested parties may enquire for the latest edition.

All subjects are taught for at least four hours week from October to January and from February to June each year. Exams take place in February to July and September each year.
